Still, Wheating leaves behind a legacy as a great runner on the track and a happy-go-lucky, genuine guy off of it. Few athletes were friendlier or more candid in the mixed zone. He will be missed.


Yeah yeah, he's retiring, but let's focus on the important stuff: how this affects me.

Has anyone on runnerunner been to iten? Reading this thread on letsrun about Julian Wanders, a 21 year old Belgian who just ran 60:07 for the half. He gives a lot of credit to living year round it Iten. Would be curious to hear any first hand accounts.
