Sunday May 21st, 2017: 4 miles
AM: 4 miles Cleveland HS Definitely not cold here, though the rain seems to have carried over. Muggy, snuck in the run before the thunderstorms.

Saturday May 20th, 2017: 4 miles
AM: 4 miles Lake Michigan Windy, so big waves were crashing up over the sea wall. Just warm enough to be okay without long sleeves.

AM: 3 miles Treadmill Suddenly cold front in Chicago left me lacking the appropriate running gear. Stuck inside, sadly. 20 minutes was about all I could put up with.

AM: 4 miles Wisconsin Rapids Ran upriver this morning; wound up being a more industrial and blue-collar stretch than yesterday.

Wednesday May 17th, 2017: 4.4 miles
AM: 4.4 miles Wisconsin Rapids Crossed the Wisconsin River, downstream for about a mile and a half, crossed back over, and then ran on a path on the other side up near the dam and rapids. Lots of barn swallows that live under the bridges, were swirling as I crossed. Lovely river. Core work after.

Tuesday May 16th, 2017: 3.8 miles
AM: 3.8 miles Des Plaines River Stayed by OHare, and figured the running would be bad enough so taht I should just wait until WI. BUt then glanced at the map and saw a river trail. Figured it would be just through suburban parks, but much better than that: solid preserves of bottomland hardwoods. Part of the Miss floodplain, of course, though different tree types here. A bit muddy so I went off the main trail and looped around on a dirt-bike path someone built.
