Summary: First physical therapy appointment. The therapist said the small amount of swelling was a good sign. Did some ankle rotations (up/down and left/right) with assistance, stretching, flexing the toes, and core work and exercises for the upper leg muscles - about all I can do yet, without putting weight on it. Pretty easy, the therapist was trying to make sure I didn't overdo it. My left calf is shockingly small compared to my right; it's amazing to me how much it can atrophy in 5 weeks. I wish I could start exercising that, because its lack of work is actually causing it to hurt now.
Summary: I haven't done that good a job of doing PT stuff over the past week in Cincinnati. But back to the therapist today. Today was a little more active. Did 3 sets of the following: -12 core turns with a medicine ball -25-30 ankle rotations with weights (3 different directions) Did some leg lifts with resistance. At the end got on 2 different arm bikes - 7 minutes and 10 minutes each. Made it a mile on the second bike.
Summary: 2x: -30 - 35 leg lefts (4 directions) 3x: -30-35 ankle rotations (4 directions) -12 core rotations
