Tuesday: 11 miles AM: 3 miles nice run with stackhouse and riccio PM: trails 8 miles Did trails and was feeling pretty tight most of the way. Afterwards we went and did 12 strides over hurdles after doing steeple drills. I got a little frazzled because as I was going over a hurdle, I cuagh my foot and ate shit on the track. Of course I maintained my composure as I quickly tucked and rolled back onto my feet, but it was still discouraging nonetheless. At this point I would feel much betetr about Steeplechase if I wasn't falling while going over hurdles, btu I think that I could do really well in teh steeplechase if I just pratice more. I know what I need to work on (proper form for my lead leg;getting it up before I go out and I also need to work on not tensing up before the hurdle). Im going to keep my head above water and just keep going. There hasn't been any problem in my life so far that a can-do attitude and determination hasn't solved yet.
