Summary: did 2xcore and lifting in the morning. got a gym membership so i'll probably start lifting before work monday-friday. ran after work. felt pretty good. ran past woody and his girlfriend on the schuylkill.

Summary: was working at BMH for most of the day so didn't get a chance to run.
Summary: did core before work. worked a morning shift at BMH so i ran when i got home. ran past two buddhist monks near the art museum. probably the most cultural thing i've done since moving to Philadelphia.
Summary: did 2xcore and lifting in the morning. ran when i got home. felt pretty exhausted. i've worked either in lab or at the hospital for 14 straight days and getting up at 6AM to lift is starting to get to me.
Summary: did lifting and 2xcore before work. not going to run today.
Summary: off. went to bed at like 8:30 last night because i was so exhausted. this was day 16 of working 7+ hour shifts in lab or at the hospital. hopefully a day off and sleeping in will set things straight.

Summary: did core, hamstring stretches, and foam rolling before running. my legs were pretty tight so the stretching and foam rolling helped a lot. felt fine despite not running much this week.

Summary: off. drove down to NC for vacation and to see Adam. 12 hours of driving made for a fun time. my hamstring was killing me on the way down.
Summary: ran with Jared in the morning. he kept up for like 2 minutes. he has a lot of work to do. did core with him afterward. went to the gym with Adam on base. did his leg lifting routine but at a lower weight. i'm going to be extremely sore tomorrow. i noticed while doing some of the lifts that my quads and hamstrings in my left leg are significantly weaker than my right leg. this probably explains a lot of the issues I had with my hamstring in college, so I'll need to do a lot of work to make them even for strength before I start seriously training.
