Saturday: 8 miles AM: San Diego Harbor and Park 8 miles I ran first thing this morning from the hotel with Nat, first heading up along the harbor a couple miles before turning and heading uphill to Balboa park. When we got to the park Nat turned to run back to the hotel while I continued with a loop through the park that took me across Cabrillo bridge and around the museums once more before heading back. On the way back through the park I took a slightly different route that took me by some fenced off areas. I was a little startled to turn a corner and suddenly see Freddy Krueger looming from behind the fence. Turns out it was some kind of Halloween haunted walk with various spooky figures set up. Kind of creepy every time I went around a bend and saw another scary body popping up. Anyway, continued back down hill through downtown to the hotel. It was a nice, enjoyable run, and a good send off for my time in San Diego. PM: 0 miles
