PM: 1.6 miles Grass Alumni + 6 striders. Felt sluggish; pain in shin. I think I should get this checked out...if I have to take off a few weeks I can afford to do it and I have a great base behind me from cross.

Saturday November 3rd, 2007: 0 miles
AM: 0 miles No physical activity No physical activity.
PM: 0 miles

Friday November 2nd, 2007: 8.1 miles
AM: 8.1 miles (7:30/mi) Man Course -> Scary Woods Got out at 7 am and ran a man course with Reilly. Finished into Scary Woods. Shin pain, otherwise felt great.
PM: 0 miles

Thursday November 1st, 2007: 8.1 miles
AM: 1.6 miles (7:30/mi) Comfort -> Grass Alumni -> Back Minor shin pain.
PM: 6.5 miles 2 Mile Derby Went through the mile feeling relaxed in 4:41 but made a dumb move and tried to push the 5th lap too hard. Ran really slow 6th/7th laps but was able to close in 72 for a 9:43. Ran relatively well compared to the rest of the team (3rd overall behind Elias and Paul).

Wednesday October 31st, 2007: 4 miles
AM: 0 miles (7:30/mi)
PM: 4 miles Polo Fields Ran with Reilly, Lucas, and Nick Reynolds. Kept pace easy. 6 fast striders in spikes on the track afterward.

Tuesday October 30th, 2007: 1.7 miles
AM: 1.7 miles (7:30/mi) Joshi Circuit - Trail Shin pain in same spot as stress fracture from the spring. Got a 2.0 on my italian midterm too. Sweet.
PM: 0 miles Elliptical 30 minutes. Pain worse walking around. I don't think the elliptical was the way to go back in the spring. I think taking some time off and then backing off with the mileage is probably better. Maybe some pool/bike/row would work too.

Monday October 29th, 2007: 12.1 miles
AM: 2.3 miles (7:30/mi) Trail
PM: 9.8 miles Extended Dry Blue Route Trails Ran Blue Route Trails with Reilly, Lucas, Anders and Woody. Anders and Woody did regular Blue Route Trails; Reilly, Lucas and I did the extension. Kept the pace pretty spicy (although it was not pounding; pounding implies discomfort). 8 brisk striders afterward. Good day; very nice weather (50 degrees, partly cloudy, no wind, low humidity); felt good to run fast.
